Garrison House is structured, drug‑tested sober living for veteran men in Middle Tennessee. Clear rules, a house manager who's actually present, and accountability that holds. No fluff — a stable place to do the work.
Who Lives Here
Garrison House is for men who served and are committed to sobriety — and need a structured place that holds them to it instead of hoping for the best.
Garrison House is a structured sober living home — peer‑based recovery housing, not a licensed medical or clinical treatment facility. We provide the environment, structure, and accountability that make recovery hold. We work alongside treatment providers, case managers, and the VA — never in place of them.
How the House Runs
Every rule in the house exists to strip out the chaos that pulls people back and replace it with routine and accountability. That's the whole product.
Zero tolerance, randomized testing, same standard for everyone. Use and you're out — that's exactly what keeps everyone else in the house safe.
Someone runs the house, enforces the rules without playing favorites, and is around when it actually matters — not just a name on a lease.
Defined expectations and a curfew. Boring on purpose. A predictable routine is what early recovery runs on, and it's what most people are missing.
Everyone here served. Accountability from men who've been where you are lands differently than it does from anyone else.
Help getting connected to employment, the VA, and the benefits you earned and probably aren't using yet.
Structure around meetings and sponsorship. We don't run your program for you — we make sure nothing in the house gets in the way of it.
Why It Works
Most homes hand a guy a bed and hope. We hand him a bed, a routine, and rules we actually enforce.
Men who served already know how to live by a standard and by the man next to them. Recovery runs on the same thing. We don't reinvent that — we rebuild it.
Too many veterans leave treatment with nowhere stable to go and slide right back into whatever broke them. A clean bed in a chaotic house isn't enough. A clean bed in a house with real structure and other men chasing the same thing — that holds.
We keep our job narrow on purpose: the safe, sober, structured place to live while the real work of recovery happens around it.
